OHD: Security Department
The Security Service operates twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Its members were distributed in three (3) shifts under the direct supervision of the Chief Security Officer with the Support of the Assistant Security Officer on matter pertaining to Investigation, Inspection, Monitoring, and the Agency’s Detachment Commander who takes charge of daily operational activities or in his absence, his appointed shift in-charge.
The security Service is open twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days a week.

The Security Services is one of the administrative supports under the Operations and Hospitality Division of the Manila Doctors Hospital (MDH) that focuses on the protection of lives and properties of all people, its facilities through the use of security forces, security systems and security procedures. The internal security personnel oversee the uniformed security guards, its operations, requirements and compliance to what have been stipulated under the security contract.
The Security Service is formerly known as the Security Task Force. It was established during the time of the sisters from the Saint Paul of Chartes some years ago. Following the extensive re-development programs of the hospital and the partnership of Manila Doctors Hospital and Metrobank Foundation Incorporated (MBFI), among the unit who received benefits is the Security Service to realize its role to the people and clientele.
- Building Security:
The entrance and exit points of the hospital is manned by uniformed security guards backed-up by roving guards and surveillance systems/devices round the clock to ensure efficient monitoring and checking of common areas, facilities and vital installation.
- Perimeter:
Our roving guards regularly checks the perimeter line of the hospital ensuring that all gates and fences including doors and windows are safe from intrusion or attack by some lawless elements.
- Parking Security:
All parking levels of the hospital are well guarded and equipped with VHF radio communication system for fast transmittal of messages from one place to another. Key control box is provided for the safekeeping of car keys when they double parked.
- Escort Security:
For safety and protection purposes, the Security Service provided a special contingent backing up VIP’s and stakeholders within the hospital premises and immediate vicinity.
As a support unit, we provide security during special activities, times of emergencies and disaster. Likewise, we enforce policies and procedures, rules and regulations relative to safety of environment, property and person.
