Nursing Service
Your room is equipped with a nurse’s Calling button. Press the plunger when you need to call the nurse. It will remain lit until the nurse comes and resets the button.

Companions
Only one companion is allowed to stay to accompany the patient.
In the OB ward, only one companion of the same sex is permitted to stay when patient is a caesarian case, except where the companion is the husband and wife or when the patient is seriously ill.
Dietary and Food Service
Professional dieticians prepare the patient’s meals. They also prepare special diets following the prescription of attending physicians. Meals are served according to the following schedule:
- Breakfast 06:00 AM - 07:30 AM
- Lunch 10:30 AM - 01:30 PM
- Supper 04:30 PM - 05:30 PM
Outpatient consultations are welcome at NUTRITION CLINIC ext 2880 open:
- Monday and Friday 10:00 AM 06:00 PM
- Saturday by appointment
For request extra tray, please contact the nurse station or local 2770, Dietary Department.
Delivery of Food From External Sources
For security reasons, delivery personnel from external sources will not be allowed to bring up food to the patients room. Relatives of patients are requested to get their deliveries at the hospital lobby area.
Inquiries and Concerns
Channel inquiries and concerns through the Head Nurse or Nurse Supervisor only. The Patient Relations Officer may also be contacted during office hours at extension number 2382.
Notices
Notices such as "No Visitors", "Don't Disturb", and others may be posted at your door upon doctor's order and/or patient's request.
Personal Furniture and Appliances
Personal furniture, home appliances and fixtures are not allowed in the hospital
Waste Management
The hospital follows a strict policy on waste management. Non-biodegradable waste like plastics and bottles should be placed in BLUE trash bins. Biodegradable waste like left over food should be placed in GREEN trash bins. Infectious waste liked soiled bandages should be placed in YELLOW trash bins inside the bathroom.
Telephone Services
You may use your telephone to make inside and outside calls. To make an inside call, dial the number of the party you wish to talk to. For outside calls dial 9 and wait for the second dial tone and dial the number of the party you wish to call. For domestic and international calls, please dial “0” and our friendly operator will gladly assist you.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are as follows:
- Private Room 8:00 AM 9:00 PM
- Wards 9:00 AM 12:00 Noon 3:00 PM 9:00 PM
For health reasons, children below seven (7) years of age are not allowed in the hospital.
Housekeeping
You may call the Nurse Station to request to request for housekeeping service or if you wish to request for change of linen.
Emergencies
In case of fire, earthquake or in the event of any emergency, please contact the Nurse Station. In such situations, do not use the elevators.
Please check the floor plan on the back of your room door for the location of the nearest exits and fire extinguishers.
